It's what he did......

In the quest of man to be like Christ it seems that an attempt is made to invoke forgiveness.
Man has not the power to authorize forgiveness, no matter how much like Christ he attempts to be.
It would seem to me that man only has the ability to exhibit the love of Christ, and should not make any attempts otherwise.

Forgiving the trespasses of another against you requires love,
but that love does not have the power to absolve anything else other than the relationship between the two individuals.

As only God offers forgiveness and absolution through the blood of Christ,
only God should make judgment upon sin, or to truly understand an idea of sinfulness.

It is doubtful that mankind is able to really know or understand trespass outside of his own understanding.
True, the wisdom of the Holy Spirit can infer to us understanding and discernment,
but any attempt to establish truth beyond revelation begins the path of judgment.

Man must act in forgiveness when he understands the trespass and should limit action to revelation and understanding,
not to establish any hypothesis or make judgment or condemnation upon such opinion.

Even so, as we are given discernment and understanding in any situation of sins of trespass,
all that we may do is to withhold judgment,
this truly is the power in "...as we forgive others" that allows the grace of God to absolve the situation and act upon both parties.

If we have removed the force of the trespass by acting in forgiveness toward an individual,
it still takes the grace of God to move in the heart of the second person,
until thaty choice is made, we have no power or authority other than to wait upon grace.

Likewise, people have no power to interfere in the actions of others,
unless the action directly effects of the relationship between the two,
and then one must determine if such actions of a brother is the cause of trespass,
or if our idea of righteous behavior has gone beyond our authority and we have moved to judge.

Waiting for God's timing is recognizing the providence of God,
knowing that he has chosen the time and place for us to move in faith,
and then to be obedient to the revelation of the Spirit.

This requires prayer, not interference; and/or love, not judgment.

WWJD? Nothing more, he has already accomplished it!

What can we do......

Withhold judgment, act in love, and petition God in prayer.

yeah.......well

i work 12-1/2 hours on fri/sat/sun (every other weekend)
i have an hour drive each way
i get up at 4:05 am
i leave for work at 5:10am
i get home at 8:10pm
i am over 50
i am going to bed
